PAVLOS AND THE BABY SEA TURTLES

Ένα βιβλίο που μπορούν να το πάρουν πολλοί ξένοι τουρίστες και παραθεριστές, αφού περιγράφει τον κύκλο αναπαραγωγής των χελωνών Καρέτα-Καρέτα ή ακόμα μπορεί να διαβαστεί από παιδιά που μαθαίνουν αγγλικά (First reader).

Pavlos was planning on spending a quiet summer in his grandfather's village. But because of his secret crush on Marianna, he found himself volunteering to patrol the sandy beaches of Agiannaki, where thousands of Caretta Caretta turtles are born every year.

When the nest that Pavlos had been responsible for was found destroyed because of his negligence, Marianna and all the volunteers at the camp turned their backs on him in disappointment. Pavlos took a hard look at the shattered eggs and came to a decision.

He would ask for a new nest, protect it, and become the best volunteer at the camp. He vowed that his baby turtles would have a chance to embark on life's long journey. Would they make it?
